Patrick Lokker joined Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors in October 2024 as a Project Manager, bringing a hands-on approach shaped by years of working alongside crews in landscaping, tree care, and trucking before finding his place in roofing and siding.
From Crew Member to Project Manager
Patrick grew up in New Richmond, Wisconsin, where he also attended school, and he still calls western Wisconsin home today. He’s spent the last two years in the roofing and siding industry, but his path to project management wasn’t a straight line, and that’s exactly what makes his perspective valuable.
Before stepping into his current role, Patrick worked his way up through several industries, starting as the low man on a landscaping crew and eventually managing an entire landscaping division. Along the way, he picked up experience in customer service, team leadership, and the kind of on-the-job problem-solving that doesn’t come from a textbook.
Patrick credits that range of experience with giving him the skills he needed to step into project management.
Keeping Twin City Projects on Track and on Standard
As a Project Manager, Patrick is the person homeowners can count on to keep a job moving and moving right. His role centers on two priorities:
- Timely, professional project completion. Patrick oversees the schedule and coordination so projects stay on track from start to finish.
- Quality control. He makes sure every completed job meets the standard homeowners expect and Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors stands behind.

It’s a role that requires equal parts organization and people skills, and Patrick’s background across multiple industries gave him both.
Why Patrick Enjoys the Work
Ask Patrick what he likes most about his job, and the answer isn’t complicated: the challenge.

“I really enjoy the daily challenges of our industry, and as part of this team it truly feels like we are working together towards a goal of providing the best service to our customers,” he says.
That team mentality shows up in how he talks about the work. Patrick doesn’t separate his own success from the crew’s, and he sees every project as a shared effort toward the same outcome: a homeowner who’s satisfied with the result.
The most rewarding part of the job, for Patrick, is seeing that outcome firsthand.
“I enjoy seeing a project through start to finish and seeing the positive impact it has on the customer and the surroundings,” he says.
Learning the Industry, One Project at a Time
Patrick is candid about the learning curve that comes with a new role in a new industry. Being new to project management means adapting to new processes while still delivering the consistency that customers depend on.
Rather than treating that as a setback, Patrick sees it as fuel for where he’s headed. Over the next 12 months, his goal is to keep growing into the role through continuous education on materials and processes, so he can offer customers an even better experience.
That mindset, treating every project as a chance to get sharper, lines up well with how our team approaches the business as a whole: a family-owned company built on the idea that the process should give homeowners confidence and peace of mind, not just the finished product.
Life Outside the Jobsite
When he’s not managing projects, Patrick is spending time with his wife and kids, playing guitar, catching a movie, or getting in a few games. He’s also a proud, self-described “controversial” Green Bay Packers fan, which tracks for someone living in western Wisconsin.
A Team Built Around People Like Patrick
