Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors: The Wright Way Since 2005
It’s hard to believe, but with 2025 just around the corner, we’re coming up on 20 years in business for our team here at Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors. And while some faces have changed, logos have been redesigned, and even our name has shifted slightly, many of the things that have made our business stand out have remained as steady as can be for the past two decades.
We’ve always put a heavy emphasis on doing things “The Wright Way” as a leading home exterior contractor in Minneapolis. We’ve come a long way in the past 20 years, so today we wanted to share with readers a bit more info on how we’ve changed, how we haven’t, and what our company is—and will be—all about.
A Family Business Since 2005
Our company was founded by the Wright family in 2005, with a goal of providing the very best in home exterior solutions to homeowners throughout our service area. Founded by skilled tradesmen with years of experience in the home services industry, we were looking to make a difference in our community by doing things “The Wright Way.”
Our experience and skill enabled us to provide top-quality roofing, siding, window, and gutter services, and our company developed a strong reputation as a result.
Growing Our Business
As our reputation grew and homeowners began to refer us more and more to friends, family members, and neighbors—still a major source of much of our business!—we realized we would need to expand our business and our team. The Wright family’s involvement increased, we expanded our hiring efforts, and amid the growth and change, we updated our logo to a sleeker, more modern design. We still have great affection for this older logo and its clever way of hiding “WAH” within the home in the center.
Becoming Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors
Almost 20 years after our founding, our business once more underwent some changes. We overhauled our branding and website, updating our logo to one that would be able to connect our company from beginning to end. We also updated the name of our business from one that merely alluded to our service offerings to Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors. Our hope with the name was to connect back to the original while providing more immediate clarity on the services we provide as home exterior experts.
Staying True to Our Values
While the company has changed much over the past two decades—including a new name, new logos, and plenty of new faces—we’ve always strived to ensure the core values that made our company successful are always honored.
For example, “The Wright Way” is still a mantra we hold as central to each and every service we provide, and one that every one of our team members keeps in mind every step of the way. We continue to prioritize people, authenticity, transparency, professionalism, and experience. And overall, our goal is always to provide the best possible customer experience to every homeowner we work with—delivering superior results and friendly customer service throughout the process.
Built In—and Building—Our Community
Wright at Home Roofing & Exteriors was established as a local home exterior contracting business operating throughout the greater Minneapolis area. We owe everything our business has to the loyalty of the many homeowners we’ve worked with throughout our local community—and as a local business we strive to better the community we call home however we can.
That includes our partnership with No Roof Left Behind, a program dedicated to providing free roofing work for community members in need. It’s been a delight to participate in this program alongside GAF and give something back to the community that has given us so much already.
